When does Prior service get paid once re-entering the military on Active Duty?

My husband is getting released from the Army Reserves to join Active duty Army. When he gets his Orders - how soon should he expect to get his first paycheck? Will he have to work a full month or wherever they are in the month, will he get paid that same 1st or 15th as of everyone else?

Keep asking him ! Send your husband back to ask until the recruiter actually finds out!

How long did it take for him to get his first pay? I’m in the same situation. Report date was the 7th, so I was hoping to get paid on the 15th, as I turned in my direct deposit information before the 1st of November.
