I know I washed this question before but I'm just rewriting and rewording it to accumulate responses and reach a definitive answer outside of the recruiter's office. Thanks for the help, I hope to serve soon, assuming this doesn't keep me from it. Which would break my heart.

Cole Onyx There are devices on the market that reduce Herpes manifestions. The one I have has a silver electrode that connects to the affected area via a ‘gel’, you don’t feel anything but several treatments Early On will reduce the symptons of Herpes- aka ‘Cold Sores’.,

Thank you, I'll be sure to look into that, but I am wondering if in your experience, would that disqualify me from the Corps?

Cole Onyx This is the third post about the same issue. Stop posting. Gather your medical records and talk to a recruiter. Be completely honest on all questions asked and forms filled out.

Cole Onyx - Yes, and the answer is the same. Talk to a recruiter with all of your medical records. Have you looked at the link that I attached? I would say that you should not have a problem, but that is only an opinion. Talking to a recruiter will set you on the path to see if you can join the Marine Corps.
