On the ASU, how do you keep the Distinctive Uniform Insignia from spinning in place?

My Distinctive Uniform Insignia seems to "spin" in place and though it is in the proper location on the uniform, it misaligns itself with normal wear. Does anyone have any tricks that help me to get it to stop? I don't have to wear this one that much.

I'm noticing that you are in the Virginia Defense Force instead of a Federal Active or Reserve unit or the normally thought of National Guard. While most of our regulation Distinctive Uniform Insignia's (unit crests) will have two prongs, I am not familiar with the VDF's heraldry items. Please post a picture of the back of your unit crest so we can have an informed look. Also the front for our curiosity.
Thank you.
Thank you.

This is probably the issue. VDF is not federal and likely has a different pin. If it's spinning, the pin is badly designed. No proper military would create an insignia that is meant to be aligned without a way to do so. Now...take the thing off and buy another one. Cut the pins off of both of them and weld them in place where they will work. If you don't have the equipment, use super glue, but it will be a pain. Tell the VDF that their pin sucks.

How does it spin? Every one I've worn has 2 prongs. It's time to replace it

We had those in the D.C. band and I solved the issue using a piece of Velcro stuck to the back. Use the hook side and it will keep the crest from spinning without ruining the jacket.
