What are the pros and cons of full DITY vs. partial DITY move?

The partial DITY works out if you are below weight on your HHG and you end up lugging a bunch of your stuff with you anyway. My family always has the smaller, travel sized version of our crap, plus all the staff you don't want moving companies smashing or they refuse to move. May as well get paid to move what you are going to take anyway.

Lost in this race of DITY money making schemes is the value of YOUR time and ass pain. Do you really want to move that massive dresser to the third floor? Yeah me neither.

CONUS-CONUS move? Partial DITY

Short of you owning a Uhaul truck there is no reason to do a full DITY

It all depends on you, time available, and the hassle factor.
