Are members of the military, both Active and Guard/Reserve, required to wear their uniform at a funeral in which military honors are given?

If it's on your time I think you're good to wear whatever so long as it's respectful, considering the event. Unless it's your unit attending the funeral, then I imagine it would be in dress.

Haven't seen anything in writing that it's required, unless you go with your unit and they want you to wear the uniform

Thanks, I didn't think ti was required. The only time I ever saw somebody state it was required was while reading through a page on Military Funeral Etiquette, but couldn't find it anywhere in regs.
