I will be PCS'ing from Korea to Fort Meade. Once there I will be getting a house and I would like to move my items from my home of record to Meade. Is this possible?

I'm probably wrong on this one, because it's been 7 years since leaving the military, but your household goods will be shipped from Korea to Ft Meade on the government's dime. As for your property being shipped from your HOR (I'm assuming your a single soldier), it's probably going to be on YOUR dime. Being a PFC, I would recommend talking to your Section Sergeant, Sqad Leader, or Platoon Sergeant - they should be able to give the current info. Sergeants, we need help here!

Your best bet is to get with the transportation office. When I was in Okinawa, I got with their transportation office and had arranged to get my stuff that was placed into a storage unit at the time picked up and put into government storage (had to give my parents a limited power of attorney to facilitate on that side) and then when I was ready for it after I bought a house in TX near Fort Hood after redeploying from Afghanistan, arranged with the transportation office to have my stuff moved from storage to my house.
If you need any help getting situated at Meade, I work and live near the post.

Yes, you are authorized a one time home of record move, but it may impact your ETS move. You need to go to a JPPSO office and talk to a counselor.
