The gold stripe down my pants has busted. What should I do?

I've had these pants for just over 4 years and just noticed it.

You can go and purchase the gold stripe at clothing sales and take it to a good seamstress and they can replace it. No need to throw out a perfectly good pair of trousers because of such a tiny flaw.

I just say that because the trousers are expensive. I originally purchased my ASUs as a Specialist so when I was promoted to Sergeant I just bought the stripe and had it sewn on.
