Will not having my 1059 uploaded on my iPerms keep me off the promotion list?

I graduated from BLC on 23 May 2017. It's been more than two weeks, but my 1059 (Service School Academic Evaluation Report) has not been uploaded on my iPerms. However, BLC has been added to my ERB. I do have the 'P' status and I have enough promotion points. Is there anything else I need for making it to the promotion list on July? I will be on training till the end of June. My unit S1 says to wait until the school uploads my 1059 and the NCO Academy says that their S1 is on leave. I just want to know if 1059 has anything to do with the promotion list? I think I have met all the requirements for the promotion to sergeant. Please let me know if I have to do anything.

Sounds to me as if Your S1’s ‘leave’ could cause an issue for you. If you Actually wait fir the ‘school’ to ‘upload’ the completion of your training, then those points for course completion will NOT be in the system! You could actually miss the cutoff score! That means an investigation by your S1 which You would have to request! Then; when & if promotion occurs, Your date of Rank could be correct. However; you would have to apply for backpay!
Please do yourself a favor & ensure Everything is in Your records! I have had & have seen the ‘buck’ passed! I had to correct my own rank even though It was in my Enlistment Contract! I also corrected numerous promotions during my brief career! I completed a packet for one Soldier and was granted permission from DA HQ to backdate his DOR five years! He had to apply for backpay ( and I assisted).

As long as it is on your ERB then you will be on the promotion list still. However, take the 1059 up to your S1 and make sure that it is added to your OMPF. The last thing that you want to do is loose it and hope that you can get another copy.

You will be fine, I'd take your 1059 to S1 to update your OMPF sooner than later.
