I have the information for it and had to really dig to get it. They did not announce this publicly and only a few areas around the D.C. area received the invite. VIP was for 1-2 May and the general sale for tickets was May 3rd which sold out in a matter of hours. I called the Ball Committee number and was basically told that they were sorry about the mistake (not releasing for everyone) and that they would do better next year. I told her that it seemed really shady to me that it happened that way and that it would have been nice not to have left everyone else in the dark about it. I was very disappointed to say the least. I have attached the flyer that was sent to me.

I called and received the same information, they told me the sign up was on eventbrite. I've been to the last 2 consecutive balls and the info was well deseminated, but not this time. The CPT who responded to my email said they would put me on the wait list.. thanks but I doubt they'll get to me.

Nothing updated on the official site. It still lists 2016 and the 2016 tickets went on sale May 2:

Outdated and since we are about 1 1/2 months out, it seems like tickets should be on sale now?

I was wondering the same thing. I retired 5 years ago and would like to attend this year but can't find any information.
