Whether you like him or not, we have to get behind him for the sake of our well being and more importantly the sake of this country

I don't recall 'all those Republicans' promising to leave the country. I don't recall them threatening the lives of people, from electors to performers at the inauguration. I also don't recall all the whining, wailing and tears that constitute daily life for the snowflakes as they run from one safe space to the next.

PO2 Robert Aitchison - exactly like that!!! Let's not forget what happen when President Bush had a republican house & senate.

CDR Jon Corrigan - I think the difference here is that 8 years ago, the President was about unity & hope and now we're about calling a spade a spade and our bottom line, enough though its much better than it was 8 years ago

SFC Jim Ruether - Electors who voted for other than the candidate that won the vote in their state basically told the voters to stick it. In some states this was illegal and an alternate HAD to be named to comply with the states law.

I wonder how these laws can be so twisted to serve these candidates and the rest of the country is supposed to accept that?

SFC Jim Ruether - You said "PE Trump actually had more electoral votes than they originally calculated so it was truly a win-win race for him. " That is incorrect. Trump lost two Electoral Votes,,, but Hillary Lost 5. His lead over Hillary increaded by 3, but raw numbers dropped.

...And I'm not alone. No, not just in this survey. It seems that most of America is hopeful. Look at the stock market. Promises of investment. Consumer confidence. Jobs will follow as inventories are depleted. Hope isn't just something you create by talking about it. It's something that happens naturally when it's warranted. Well, Ding Dong the progressive tyranny has been slain (at least hobbled) and hope has returned to America. And you can bet the better part of the world will breath a sigh of relief when they realize that the sleeping giant is once again awakening

SGT D N - You just insulted one of the most thoughtful, intelligent participants on this forum. Your comments elucidate your standing in comparison.

Sgt Mark Ramos - Don't worry. SGT D N didn't insult me. He insulted himself. He demonstrated his inability to understand a simple comment. I don't attribute any sense of hope to Trump, but rather to my faith in the American people. Once awakened, We the People dumped the progressive tyrants and We the People will make America great again without their interference, their onerous regulation and taxes. Trump is merely the instrument we chose to get government the hell out of our way.

CPT Jack Durish - absolutely spot on Sir! IMO the government needs to be reminded under no uncertain terms that they work for us, not the other way around. (Yet another reason for term limits) they feel like they are placed this self-afflicted pedestal and are untouchable. They need to get the boot after 2 or 3 terms and go back to a "real" job so they don't get too comfortable. We the people need to re-gain control, and streamline the government.
