I'm a 35M SSG w/out a Tab, I just attended a 75th Ranger Brief. I'll be receiving a packet soon. What can I expect at RASP II & after RASP?

He can keep it, we had an SOP. It was something like, “mustaches, if worn will be carried in the upper left breast pocket as not to present an unmilitary like bulge”. We also referenced them as cock bumpers. Real men don’t wear them unless it’s accompanied by a beard and it’ll be a few years before you’re even allowed to try out for that unit.

You saying he spins on his F’ing head and dances around on the floor? I’d strike too from your vocabulary.

Just because you were always wrong and raised in a field that allowed “top” to be used, doesn’t mean that someone is “chest beating”. What you don’t know is that using “top” to denote a senior NCO will get him destroyed. Being that you know nothing of this community, you shouldn’t be making comments or recommendations. An Airborne Ranger is special in every way, just as any Ranger. The 1SG is the highest level of leadership that still gets his hands dirty and maneuvers with the young men. If anything, you should apologize and move on to an area where you may give helpful advice.

As a SSG you should hold yourself to a higher standard. Nor is it something to joke about. Rangers take this very serious.

It's always easier as a SSG than a

If you do a search on youtube do a search by "ranger assessment and selection program rasp (full documentary)" National Geographic just released a new 2016 documentary on it on film and it is on youtube. I believe they have the same for SFAS but I think the SFAS overview is older.
There are also other films on RASP out there on youtube.

I appreciate it, but I've already watched plenty of those videos. That's why I'm asking on here, to hear from people that have been there and gone through it.
