PFC(P) (Join to see), My best experience while I was in the Army was finding out the seven men we rescued one night in Vietnam, all lived, and I was able to be reunited with one of them, in person.

That event must have been humbling, yet gratifying.

SGT (Join to see) - That's a great write-up, Keith, and long overdue! Frame that sucker. And thank you for your comments as well.

Pushing back an enemy element 100 strong and surging the day. It's an amazing sight when I saw every guy in my platoon fighting with all of their might, disregarding their own safety to keep each other alive and win the fight. So, in a nutshell, the cameraderie of the soldiers i served with and their unwavering loyalty to each other was the best thing I had ever been a part of.

Those experiences you had, Jeff, had much to say about your personal integrity and honor in serving your country and fellow soldiers! The heavens must have smiled down upon you and your platoon members.
