Hurricane Katrina - Saint Bernard Parish. Total destruction of entire section of NOLA area

Was in Anchorage during the 1964 Anchorage Earthquake, largest earthquake ever recorded in North America and second in the world.

I think one of the motivators for me to enter Naval aviation was to get to fly with the Hurricane Hunters. Then I figured out how insane that job is. Big respect for those folks, and the Coast Guard.
