What is your opinion regarding interaction with anonymous RallyPoint members?

I, as I'm sure many of you, have observed anonymous RP members participating in discussions. I personally find it a tad unsettling to have someone who does not wish to be identified offering advice or opinions on a site for professionals. Does anyone else feel this way or do you not see it as a valid concern?
I am not questioning one's right to remain anonymous as RP obviously allows it. I'm just asking how people feel about participating in a discussion when they do not have insight into the person they are conversing with.

Well, sooner or later, you knew it was gonna happen - Dudely Doowap was finally gonna say something that (a) made sense (b) I actually agree with.
I have no problem with those who want to simply monitor the comments. But if you're gonna make a comment, express your opinion and/or participate in something other than being a spy - then I say you need to grow a pair and put your name on what you say. I could care less if you're the Chief of Staff, Chief of Naval Operations, Commandant, or some Intell weeny that thinks they gotta have anonymity to protect their down range identity. If you fit those categories - you don't need to be here.

I try NOT to get into the beard discussions. I think I've heard just about every point of view re: beards - how ladies feel about them - how men (non-active duty types) feel about them....
I wear a beard for me. period. Just as women frequently dress for the other women ... though most will furiously deny that... some men wear a beard to establish the fact their genetic pool said: "grow!".....
Meh...I have a long face (one of those genetic things) - got tired of having lots of people describe my face in not so happy making descriptions.... an ex-gf suggested a beard. I liked what I saw and how people reacted to it. Done.

Shoot.. that's easy..all ya gotta do is look for the short-haired / bald guy strutting around in his Army PT gear with the Chartreuse Safety Belt w/Taffeta Tassels & Orange Rank insignia. Prolly got his name embroidered on it with little miniature medals.

PO1 (Join to see) - When I was in the California Army National Guard, My buddy and I were tasked with supporting California Cadet Corps Cadets, at their summer camp. I had been a cadet in High School, and of course the uniforms had changed, They wore fatigues, with orange stripes, they were the subdued pin on stripes spray painted orange to avoid confusion with Army troops.
