Does anyone have any expertise or good tips in relation to appeals through the VA on ratings not fully completed the first time through.

I don't know if this is just a local thing, but the Bowling Green, KY American Legion post has VA representatives that are there once or twice a week. They are the reason I was informed of the fully developed claim process, and they generally were awesome with assisting me in submitting my claim.

SSG Spencer, I hope your commend is directed towards dealing with the VA and not dealing with the CVSO. Dealing with the VA is indeed an excruciating and frustrating experience, that is why I recommend the use of a service officer when filing claims.

Yes it is top. The VSOs are the front line and trying hard. Problem is, the VA spoils everything they do and poor guys have to deal with the fallout. The VSOs are at their mercy as much as the vet.
