Is the military losing its best and brightest to the civilian world?

We may lose a lot, but many of them with positive outlooks about their time that will repay the loss in time. also, many of our brightest are not being used to their potential in our ranks, as civilians they are more likely to be better utilized and help our nation even more.

It's frustrating but true that many vets are better utilized in their civilian employment. How can we better utilize unique talents in our units?

Yes, once we have military experience, who wants to stay in and get paid half the wages for the same work haha.
