From an email I received:
when he retired he didn’t push hard enough to
get his master wings and is now rethinking the idea of being authorized to
have.

I have submitted several retroactive Combat Action Badges for Soldiers who had already been discharged. Soldiers deserve recognition for their achievements even when they are no longer Soldiers anymore.
Send me a friend request then a message, I'll do some research tomorrow and get you an answer.

MSG Quick,
I really don't know the benefit. I guess he is just thinking, Man I wish I would have gotten them. I don't see it helping in a job interview or resume. I guess he just wants them. An old Commander of mine asked me about this because it was one of his IP's and just wants to do him a solid. Any ideas if it can be done or not, or how? I would assume his last unit would have to cut orders and back date them.
