If I Didn't Think I Could Be Anymore Shocked About West Point Well I Just Was... I Checked An ID For Some Slob (For A Better Term) Of A "Supposed" Captain In His "Sort Of" Dress Blues. No Cover, Shirt Untucked, No Jacket, No Tie And Last But No Least No CAC Card.. Good Example Of A Shitbag That Can't Even Follow Uniform Regulations

COL David Pelkey - Too true sir. While deployed ACUs were the uniform for pretty much everything. While inside our hooches the pants were typically un buttoned and unbloused if boots were on and tan t shirts were not tucked in if worn at all. If anyone had bothered to "correct" us on how we wore our uniform while watching movies after coming off a mission we probably would have laughed in their face. Of course when we walked outside everything would be fixed.

Anytime, even if offender outranks you. Probably need some discretion in this case, but if the individual is made aware of the infraction they will be grateful to you.

Had a Cpt. once who was wearing an non issued Scarf( German) I called hem off to side and asked hem respectfully to remove it. His reply to me was He was a Cpt and I as an First Sgt will not Correct Hem, I Saluted hem About Faced and went to Find my Commander. But run upon the Bn XO first. He said Top what's the Problem? Explained what had Happened, He Beat me Back to Range and had Cpt's Heels Locked when I got there.
