CPT Joseph K Murdock I assume their getting better and bigger. I know when I was at Fort Hood, TX they had a battalion WTU and treated their Soldiers with dignity and respect for the most part.

That is awesome. After my WTU experience it left a bad taste in my mouth and caused me to question the worth of my career.

I was a squad leader at Ft. Hood, they did expand to a Brigade level and the new BDE CSM was a bastard. I was there in 2008 and helped stand up Delta Company.

CPT Joseph K Murdock - Thanks. I sort of thought that is what it was but didn't know.

I have no experience with the WTU's and I thank God for that, but for those individuals that are there and have been there for six months will probably be forwarded to extended support areas
if there is a need to....otherwise if the treatment isn't up to par, then they need to go thru the chain of command for improving those particular units and if that doesn't do a thing, then contact your Congressional person for assistance...they are paid by you, so ask for help/assistance. I would hate to have a bad outlook for my Military career based on a past experience.
