Richard you are correct and whether a person is in for 1 year or 20 years you will get out one way or another and eventually. So we should always train as you fight ready to go voluntary or involuntary

I will be next year. Going to move back to ND and pursue a career in Law Enforcement. Weather is alright, the AF is okay but neither one is something I want to be a part of for 20 plus years.

Here's a new tool that was developed by a group of veterans to help with the transition process. It's called the Transition Intelligence Dashboard and gives data based upon military branch, rank, yrs of service, education, specialty, age and gender.....really good info:
