1st Cavalry female leads crew to historic 'Top Gun' gunnery title
Maj. Chrissy Cook made history in the 1st Cavalry Division two weeks ago when she led her Bradley crew to "Top Gun" status during gunnery, making her the first female Bradley commander to do so.

SN Greg Wright - Very apparent you are not familiar with BB&T gunnery. The highest qualifying crew in each battalion is referred to as the Top Gun.

No I do not believe she is a trailblazer. She is a soldier and a NCO. She is a standard bearer. The trail has already been blazed by the ranger school graduates. Now these females are just stepping up and taking charge. I'm all for opening it up for females but we need to also get off of the political correctness that is facing us today. Worry about the real issues. Equiptment and personnel shortages across the front.

Exactly how I feel Sir, just leave her alone and let her do her job. By giving her all this attention it make things even harder for her.
