What are your thoughts on an HR Officer moonlighting as a "Head Hunter" while serving on active duty?

As long as he has the permission of the Army to have a second job and it is approved, there is no issue. On the other hand if he is contacting Service Members within his organization or sphere of influence there could be a conflict of interest. Either way, as long as he has permission!

And, that permission needs to be in writing and endorsed by the chain of command. Ain't nothing like having paper!

If he is finding jobs for separating soldiers it sounds like a win/win situation.

Unless he is scalping critically low MOSs I think it is a wonderful idea.
