I have a personal political platform posted through my Facebook site. But I cannot post it here. If you want to see what I truly stand for check it out.

Thats how I feel. I'm kind of on the "Vote Libertarian and pray they aren't lying" set right now. Republicans are not conservatives anymore sadly.

I'm with you MSgt Hebert.... also agree with CPT Brooks.. I like a lot of the Libertarian platform.. but can't help but wonder if they aren't politicians first just like the rest.

Since the Tea Party hijacked the Republican Party I had to become an Independent. NC only recognizes two parties as far as voting goes - R & D and I just have a really hard time getting into the philosophy of either as they stand today.

One thing I have to say though is VOTE. No matter what you believe, please exercise your franchise. You as military members are so much more educated on the issues than the average voter today. VOTE!

I'd be happy with anyone who actually studies the facts and relies on data over demagoguery. I've voted all over party lines and will support whoever I feel is dealing in reality.

I agree with you Major D. The only problem is, we end up trying to choose the lessor of two evils because the bulls inside the beltway won't let anyone else (other party) come in and play.

Until we get rid of the two party system, or scrap the party system all together, I fear we are going to be stuck with figuring out the lessor of two evils.
