What training have you received pertaining to MRT? What have you found useful in the training? I know for me personally I refused (in my mind) to accept the training. We had it forced down our throats by a former BDE commander and the way it was all done, was just not good business. However, I attended the training and have at least quarterly every since. I have learned things about myself that I did not know.

@SFC Richard Gilley The only training I have ever received petaining to MRT was during BOLC. Our unit does not have a designated MRT, nor will we have one in the near future since we do not have anyone trained. Our only solution to receive this training will be the mass BDE SRP / ECT Rodeo in which someone higher is qualified. I will have been in 3 years as of 03FEB2015, and have only experienced official MRT once.

Very Respectfully,

I've seen the MRT curriculum and it is generally a good direction for the Army. We deal with resiliency in my nonprofit, so I have an interest in understanding how that is conducted with our active force.
I think the Army may require a little too much for the certification of MRTs; however, any effort to address some of the issues our troops are facing is better than an incomplete solution.

I am not a certified MRT trainer though I would not pass up the opportunity.
