The state of Iowa is actively trying to draw veterans to the State with the http://www.homebaseiowa.org/ Anyone, in Iowa or outside even aware of what they are doing to draw you to the State?

Been trying to find suitable employment in Iowa for the past 5 months. Trying to get an interview from outside of the state has been challenging. Still plugging away though!

Looking mainly in the Des Moines/surrounding area. Only transportation experience I would have is fleet management of assigned military GSA vehicles. (Maintenance, Mileage/Fuel logs, etc)

Try public transportation. They use the same type of tracking systems. I work in Dallas TX
and we have people doing this type of work.

I know 75 dollar a month for me right now. When he signs the new one it will be $652 dollars a month in tax savings

Right now it is 1578 subtracted from your Appraised value which in my case is 75 dollars a month off total property tax. Being VA rated 100% and he signed the new bill I will have 652 dollars a month in TAX credit. A true tax credit

Currently I have a petition with over 88 Disabled vets waiting for the new bill to be signed. They have only been able to get 25 to 75 a month off property taxes and some felt for that amount it was not worth even filing as the paperwork takes longer than the tax credit was worth. Now once he signs it you will see a greater Home ownership with disabled vets. In New Mexico when a similar law passed 26% increase in Disbale vets being able to own home.
