Here's a question for all you JAG types out there. This Soldier has filed a lawsuit over the new 670-1 tattoo reg. We all know judicial review can abolish or strike down portions of civilian legislation, but could a lawsuit like the one this Soldier filed result in a legally mandated change to a military regulation? Is there a precedent?

I think if you can argue for a change of the hair style regulation you should be able to argue for a change in the tattoo regulation. If you don't like the regulation you can always exercise you rights to petition the powers that be for a change.

Just kidding. I think both of these issues are ridiculous. Grow up and deal with it.

Wow - people will sue for anything. I don't know about the "unconstitutional" part. We give up a lot of rights when we join the Military.

Should be interesting to follow though.

I never saw the dog deal with tattoos. As long as they are not offensive and not on your face and hands I don't see a problem
