I recently heard that Mosques are starting to train for active shooter type incidents. Thoughts?

I'm wondering if this is a legal way to bring weapons into a place of worship under the guise of training or am I being too cynical?

We could hope they are over-reacting, but after 911 there were some bad incidents. We have to remember that the majority of Muslims in this country came here to escape the insanity going on in the old country. I applauded those that defended Muslims during that time from hate.

Excellent! That means they are scared..................very scared and so the shoe is on the other foot. Mind you I do not wish anyone harm but karma is a bitch for their silence all these years. Just my opinion.

well ... they are training on firearms too... in WV, eyewitness claims 17 of "Foreign Muslim" looking men target practiced on a public shooting range. 3 different range targets, rapid fire, two shots each.
So what can you say? Mosques also worry about their own extremists shoot them up too, because some of them started to stand up against extremism.

SSG John Thornton - Well, I don't distrust them. I just keep moving on with my life, Nothing changed anyway. Arm yourself and situation awareness, that is all as a lawful citizen can do :). All this "false" information is just entertaining for me.

SSG John Thornton - ?? false??? how do you know? if you don't know, then who is actually spreading false information?? lol If you are not willing to find truth in the false, you might as well ban all information. :)

SSG John Thornton - Thank you. But that is between me and my friends. You may choose to disagree or not believe in "me". But among my friends, we trust each others. That is all you need to know.
Second, I didn't make any accusation. I just said they are training on firearms, they are exercising their 2nd, and also they might be even trying to protect themselves from extremist of anything kind or even from "me".
So, I trust my friend until it is proven otherwise. Stop your false accusation of me and my friends. If you choose to keep going on, fine. Get over it.

Considering the Number of Armed Rednecks that are Intellectually Challenged in this Country. Makes plenty of sense to me.
