I drank my cup of coffee this morning and enjoyed one of three cigarettes for the day. The sun was bright and it caused a chain of thoughts that describes my problem. I wake up to the sun and go to bed when it is dark. My journey entails lifting weights, blogging, eating, and cleaning every day. Nothing more, nothing less. It is a passage devoid of excitement and passion. I feel like I need an intellectual exercise to determine a better azimuth. I am sure I have connectivity with some fellow RP members because we are on the same wavelength.

You have to break out of that cycle. You have to try to do new things or refine your way of thinking. Life is certainly too short not to have a passion in your life. Sometimes the journey to find the often elusive thing is what makes us who we are.

I have done some cursory thinking and decided what is in my mind that I can control and what opportunities does the world offer.

There is so much in our lives and things that happen to us that we just can't control....but.....there is that small sliver of things that we CAN control and that is all we can dwell upon.

MAJ Ken Landgren - ..
OMG, I Just Noticed.. This Message Was Asked By You.
To My Way Of Thinking "Control" Is Something Which Gets In The Way Of Living.
Some Is Necessary, Of Course, But There Comes That Time To Just Fa-King LET LOOSE.
Had I Tried Controlling All My Life, I KNOW I'd Have Missed At Least 95% Of The Reason For Living, Just For Enjoying As Many Moments Of It As Possible...Quite Frankly I Don't Recall Hardly ANY Planning Going On.., I Just Took Advantage Of Opportunities & Figured "What The Hell, What Can Go Wrong?.. And Do I Care Anyway"? Then I Went from There. And It's Been A LOT More Fun Than Aggravation...
When A Bump Shows Up, Flatten It Out...Then Continue Your Trip, Don't Stop.

I feel like this sometimes too. Then I see one of the awesome sunsets or capture an amazing space image like these I took: http://www.astrobin.com/users/Telum/ and I am filled with wonder again. I guess I just try and find things to fill my life. I survived 3 deployments so I figure it's best that I live a little bit lol

Sometimes it feels like I am trying to light a fire that will not burn.

MAJ Ken Landgren - I can relate to that. Or just feel like I am spinning my wheels on things. Just have to keep it moving.

MAJ Ken Landgren - ......
Here's How Our Family Operates:
If You Have Enough To Lend Out,
You Have Enough To GIVE Out...
And It's Always Worked Well....
Money Has NO Value Until It's Used For Something.
And Family Is The Best Use or It

At 14 I Was Told:
"If You're More Fortunate Than Others,
Build A Longer TABLE, Not A Higher WALL"
And When One Lives It, It Does Them More Good
Than The Person Being Assisted....
