1LT (Join to see) it was a great call, for OPSEC, situational awareness and most of all Security for Americans.

I completely agree with you. However, I wonder if the ban is exclusive to Paris, or if it will extrapolate to most European capitals.

It's almost automatic that DoD implements a travel ban when something like this happens. I was expecting the ban timber implemented 48hra ago. However; if I had the chance, I would go to Paris tomorrow. Paris today is probably safer than any other city in Europe. After the attacks every single country is looking at Paris in addition to all the LE, Inteligence and military resources that are engaged as we speak.

Damage has been done in Paris, odds are there won't be a second attack there. It will happen in another city, another country - possibly ours! I understand the "Commands" reasoning, but to me it's a signal the terrorists are winning. This is the object of terror attacks to put fear into people to change their daily lives or routine.

Thinking about what happened in January, I was "expecting" a second attack perpetuated by the terrorist team that flew the scene before cops had arrived. Those men have nothing to lose, and they want to make as many damages as possible.
