Why is it that when you meet and greet Military Brothers and sisters some accept you and some don't?

Each of us has own personality, our own quirks, and our own problems, SPC Mark Beard. For most of us, serving in the Military was an experience that we treasure, while others describe it as the, "the worst 2 (3,4) years of my life". There are also those who suffer from PTSD and depression, and just can not bear to talk about, or dwell on, their military service. You just need to be aware of who you ar talking to, and their feelings on the subject of their military career.

People are people, SPC Mark Beard. They have bad moods just like everyone else. It isn't you, it is them.

Right on, Top. I have bad days too. I usually try to bend over backwards to greet a fellow vet tho. Ya never know what they may be dealing personally either. Loss of loved ones, missing brothers or sisters who may have passed or any other disappointment in life. But fellowship is where it's at, in my opinion. And thanks for sharing your's 1SG (Join to see)! John 16:33

I think it may be general rudeness. Putting aside military members and veterans, I treat everyone the same way I want to be treated no matter what your background may be.
