WE LOST ANOTHER BROTHER YESTERDAY - WHEN IS ENOUGH ENOUGH?
TAKE A MINUTE TO READ! THIS A CALL FOR HELP!
There have been many articles and discussions written about Suicide and the loss of our brothers and sisters here on RallyPoint, so I'll ask my cohorts (Admins) on RP not to combined to remove this discussion for the sake of another lost veteran to suicide! I can't and won't provide you with the name for the sake of the veteran's family, but that shouldn't make a difference. He is gone and we suffer as a group and as an organization of veterans, no matter why or what the reasons were. May his loss not go in vain!
WE CAN CHANGE THAT RP MEMBERS.
I'm asking you to respond to this discussion by tagging (20) of your connections (Different and New) and then ask them to request they do the same.
I want to reach as many veterans on RP as possible that have PTSD, TBI, or they are severely disabled and get them help though this program.
Attention! Calling on Active Duty Soldiers & Families; Veterans & Families Suffering from PTSD, TBI, or severe disabilities to Participate in an Excellent Virtual Program in 3D Interactive Mode!
How to get involved or get help
We need to roll out our programs as soon as possible to help prevent more suicides. We need the following to participate in our Pilot Program:
1. Active Duty families that will participate in our Residential Community Virtual environment. Here, the Active Duty Spouse can meet with his/her family at predetermined times to spend consistent, quality time with their families. Utilizing virtual media computers, they can help their children with homework, take them to an amusement park on go on rides, celebrate birthdays and holidays with family and friends, all without physically moving. We feel very strongly that consistent family interaction in an immersive, interactive virtual environment will decrease PTSD and help with TBI. it is confidential and on your own time. You can come in anonymously!
2. Veterans with PTSD, TBI, or severe disabilities to have access to supportive Community services to demonstrate how the services work and the associated benefits.
3. Military spouses or Caregivers that are needed for volunteer work to start which will result in subcontractor paid work within a few months. We mainly need a lot of administrative help, some IT, a Videographer, and a Web designer.
Please let me know if you'd like to see a live demo to to experience what we know and have proven is a solution to decrease Veteran PTSD and TBI suicides, provide training and remote work for paralyzed veterans, and host a Community of services available 24/7 for support and encouragement for Active Duty, Veterans and their Families.
No veteran or service member will ever feel alone or isolated again.
If you are interested in the above and would like to attend a demonstration, we are conducting them on Thursday nights at (1900 Hours) 7:00 PM EST.

When I first read your post my thoughts went immediately to somebody who was on RallyPoint with us COL Mikel J. Burroughs. While I am saddened for the loss of another veteran to suicide I am grateful that in this case it does not seem to be somebody I know - I know far too many who have committed suicide. PO3 Steven Sherrill thanks for the heads up.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs you have always been on top of this issue. The community is better for having people like you working to cut this number to zero.
