Some of us may remember the Tru- Spec brand BDUs, the black would turn purple after a few washings. Is there a brand to stay away from when buying OCP?

MSG (Join to see) - Try the PX online. May have to wait, but why pay 2x as much. When do you have to have them?

The online PX doesn't have the actual uniforms, just patches and boots. And sadly the cost from civilian store is pretty equivalent to the PX. Don't need it till Jan though so I have time, just trying to be squared away when I get to new unit.

1stSgt (Join to see) That's what I was going to recommend. AAFES.com.
I've been wearing the new stuff for about 2 months now. Couple of things I've done:
I don't throw them in dryer. Hang them straight out of washing machine and air dry.
I use the same laundry detergent as I did with ACU's. (Gain). It didn't fade my ACU's as much as using Tide etc.
So pretty much what I did with ACU's I'm doing same with OCP's. Guess after having ACU's for so long just got used to continuing to do it..lol
