SSG Ed Mikus i had been thinking of studying for a PhD but I am 68 and don't see any sense to it time wise at this point."

SSG Ed Mikus
Sir, my grandmother earned an Associates in history at 55, not the same as a PhD, but it was all for the fun of learning. Think of what you can offer your fellow students, the professors, and our country even if you do not "use" the title in a traditional sense, you will be able to influence and share knowledge with others.

I asked this question because i am contemplating the decision. i have always wanted a PhD, i am competing a Masters right now. my issues are: money of course and, will it hurt me in the job market? i aspire to manage a large Cyber Defense department for a big company, (hopefully a bank).
What are ya'lls thoughts?

After I finish my undergraduate / Professional MBA and perhaps MSL run, I might give it some serious thought.
