SGT (Join to see) thanks for reminding me. One obstacle is retirees AKO accounts got discontinued 1 July. It's hard unless you become a DOD contractor to get a CAC card to be sponsored. Great to use if you can get access as an Retiree.

SGT Trisha Butler - You keep both upon ETS. If you need help with either, their help-desk will help you out.

Contractors can not have access. How are retirees getting access? not available to me on the AF portal as a retired member OR Contractor.

CW3(P) (Join to see) - SSG (Join to see) is correct. When you complete the entire course cirriculum in Skillport, you should be well prepared to take the proctored exam and certify. Many companies list certifications as prerequisites, especially in the IT industry. I've heard many times LSS was well respected.

SSG (Join to see) - I am not ver familiar with 88 series. My mos is 920B Supply Systems Technician. I am being tasked as the UMO as an extra duty for my unit. So i am at square one myself.

I had access for years since 2010 then even after I got out in 2015 until the system migrated to Percipio Jan 2023. I did a ton of training there and was using SkillPort extensively to research and obtain certifications right up until Dec 2022. I am still able to access the SkillPort portal with the same credentials but all of the content has been migrated over to Percipio.

The documentation prior to the transition date indicated that since I had an account prior to 3 Jan 2023, my account in Percipio would automatically be created; however, I did not receive the welcome email to create a new password in the new Percipio system and have been unable to access my account on the Percipio side.

I have reached out to Skillsoft support and the Army e-Learning Program Administrators and am awaiting the determination. I will report back my results.
