Is a General Discharge under Honorable Conditions appropriate?

We allowed him to join with a waiver, we did not properly check/follow up on him....we owe this man the medical treatment he needs!

After reviewing the accompanying article Sgt Spencer Sikder, I think that Staff Sgt. Joshua Eisenhauer needs to have a full medical exam including a psychiatric evaluation, PTSD work-up, etc. to either verify if he has periodic lapses is faking his symptoms or something else.
In any event I concur that he should be discharged under Honorable Conditions so that he is eligible for health care through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Sgt Spencer Sikder SSG Eisenhauer obviously went through a lot, and was deeply affected by his experiences in Afghanistan. It sounds like he was either no longer receiving treatment, or chose not to be treated. As far as his discharge goes, I believe that the board has facts that we are not privy to, and thus their decision is based on ALL the facts. As a PTSD sufferer myself, I can relate to the difficulties of adjusting to life outside the Military with no support. I hope that whatever the board's decision, that our Brother-in-Arms will receive the care, and treatment, that he deserves as a Soldier who served his Country.
