Independence Day Celebration LIVE in 360 from West Point | West Point Band

A special place to be in New York State to celebrate Independence Day is at the US Military Academy as the West Point Band presents its spectacular concert from Trophy Point. This amphitheater just north of the famous parade grounds known as "The Plain" provides a five mile view up the turn in the river.

With no concert this year, our friends in the Band put together this special playback of last year's event. One of the traditions is that the freshman class of new cadets who arrived just a few days before are invited to take a break from training to enjoy the concert and be a part of the celebration.
