I just received orders to TRADOC. Back story, I've been in the army 6 months was prior service Marine for 9 and a half and my unit I'm in is transforming from strykers to Bradley's, so it's our time to go. Wondering who has experience there and what to expect

I’d make the best of it. I attend as many BIFV schools as your leadership allows. I’d also ask to do a ride along at both NTC and JRTC. Expeditionary operations inside a maneuver unit is demanding. You’ll get a ton of perspectives at the CTCs in a short amount of time. I’d learn all I could on network architecture down to unit MTOEs. Remember your first day there starts the count down to getting back to a line unit. High expectations.

no idea what to expect other than you have to understand that TRADOC is training and doctrine, it is most likely going to be very different than manning a chain gun, just saying
