I’m beginning to contemplate the possibility of my spouse getting orders overseas as she’s completing Airborne school (she’s currently in BCT). I know being a Reservists limite be but I’d like to explore my options.
Edit: Apologies, it was late. It might help if I mention her MOS: 14G, Air Defense Battle Management Systems Operator.

None that I'm aware of, and your spouse getting Airborne School, about 80% of airborne assignments are CONUS. Not sure what your spouse's MOS is but the major Airborne OCONUS support units are 1-1SFG, 1-10 SFG, 4/25 and 173rd. There are smaller detachments, but those are the BN and BDE size units

SGT (Join to see) if she goes to Airborne school and passes that will almost certainly he her first assignment. There are non-Psyops units you could drill with in Germany and Japan. Or, while I was in Oki, one of the guys arranged to have his wife dril with our AD unit for her two week AT.

SFC (Join to see) Yes, I was hoping AT with an Active unit was not too far-fetched! Either way, to maintain my skill set and be a functional PSYOP NCO it would definitely be more beneficial to remain stateside. Thank you SFC.

SGT (Join to see) you could probably do your AT with the SF Group battalion in Japan or Germany. They have AD 37F's attached already, so it would be a great chance for some real world operational experience and professional mentorship from Senior NCOs

HOA has both reserve and active mist/TPT teams. The probability to be selected is very low. I am talking like 19-20 tops they also rotate what POGs the rotations started in 08 and have been going ever since.

None, I just sat down with a USAR recruiter in Germany last month. They had CA but no PSYOPs.

Got you SSG (Join to see), but like you stayed, out of CONUS on a deployment. Doesn’t fit the description of overseas duty station.

Tracking. I saw Reserve PSYOP units overseas and didnt read anything about overseas duty station. I took it as that as any status.
