Having never been to Korea myself, I cannot speak personally. However, I have heard many of horror stories. It was always surprising that a policy letter or something of the sort was never put in place.
What are your thoughts?

I was stationed in Korea at Humphreys from 94-95. The girls were pretty much all Korean then. Not like today with the other 3rd world people taking over the "role". There is no need for a ban if the SM just said "no thanks" like most of us did. Soldiers are going to drink and that's a hard one to stop. But things are much more "non-alcoholic" today. So, maybe it's for the best with sex trafficking and prostitution, that they will be out of work. But we had an "underground" (literally in a basement) club in Humphreys so, this will probably continue for a while.

And that was my first impression as well, MSG Wade Huffman & SFC Melker Johansson. There is a yearly mandated class against human trafficking yet we do nothing about the obvious sex trafficking in Korea.
