I've been trying to become a army recruiter because yes...My recruiting packet has already been approved and I've talked to my branch manager who informed me that I have been placed on the POT (I don't know what that means) and once a mission comes down or I hit my TOS I will get a generated assignment. How long does it usually take for USAREC to receive another mission for recruiters?

You got that backwards. Your branch is given a mission by USAREC to supply so many recruiters and drill. Recruiting does several levies a year to fill recruiter spots. I’d say you won’t be waiting longer than 90 days till you get a recruiter date

Recruiting is one of them things where if you want it and you meet the minimum criteria you're going to get it, but my advice is be careful what you wish for, stay positive.

Join nearly 2 million former and current members of the US military, just like you.
