You're a Reservist, you're already a citizen for 90% of the time. "Transitioning" for you means sleeping in one extra weekend a month

Now that's funny right there, SFC (Join to see). For me, going from full time active duty to retiree, it meant sleeping in four extra 4.333 weekends per month -- then I became a father.

While in the Army, I worked and learned to do my job to exceed the Best I Can as a Soldier.
As a civilian, I worked 40-hour per week and enrolled in college, 6 hours per week of studies. During my last 24-months of college, I worked 40-hours (night shift) per week while enrolling as a full time student.
It took me 8-years to graduate with an Accounting degree while working full-time. Have I mentioned, I was married with two boys during the time.
In the military, I learn discipline and dedication to be the best in whatever I did.
If you learn anything from the Military, it should have been discipline and dedication to complete your job to the standards at all times. This same grit applies; you start at the bottom but work to standard to get a raise. Easy!
Good luck.

Are you implying that you do not have a civilian job now? If so, what are you doing with al that time on your hands, and how are you supporting yourself?
