I was really into Louis L'Amour when I was a kid definitely had some awesome stories

Not just an author of Westerns. Historical fiction too. And I recommend highly his autobiography, The Education of a Wandering Man

My favorite western author.......2 nd would be Zane Grey......have the LL collection in hardback......including his poems....CP T Durish's recommendation is right on.....enjoy
