3 situations will let you in on what a person is really about and who they really are.
1. When they don't get what they want.
If they are nice to you and acting a certain way and then make a request and you set a boundary and say no and then they all of a sudden change, the person that they're showing you after they are denied what they want is actually they are.
2. When they have something to prove or something to lose.
When someone is underpressure, their true colors come out. If they are going to break ethical boundaries, be dishonest and **** people over, it happens when something is on the line for them.
3. When they are in a position of power.
Watch how they treat people who they view as below them or people that they don't need anything from. Are they rude to staff at a resturant? Do they curse out the bum on the street when he asks them for a $ on a cold day...Do they belittle people when they are down.
If you haven't seen someone in one of these three situations, chances are you don't really know them at all...
