Not "Hard" but you will have to be patient as it would be a tedious process. You'd have to get a 368 conditional release signed by the first general in your chain of command. If you enlisted in 7/17, I personally don't think your chain will sign the release as you are new to the unit, however the answer is "No" to every question you don't ask. Your first step would be to contact a guard recruiter and see if they will take you, then they would request the 368 to be sent up. Best of luck!

If you really wanted to be a grunt you wouldn't have accepted anything else

Haha ok well army reserves in Maine dose not have an infantry unit and i could only get in as part time. Truth be told in 2015 I was active duty with the mos of 11b and more then have way though I fractured my hip and was released from the army. Nice try tho

So, if you never completed training because of a hip fracture you are going to need a medical exam and possibly a waiver to go back into Infantry. It doesn’t matter what anybody on this page says you need to ask the Guard recruiters to evaluate your situation. good luck with that. The fact that you were released from the Army then allowed to enter the Reserves is a surprise. Well, maybe not so much in Maine.

Yea I’m good to go now and had a lot of people get back in with the same type of injury. I’m just looking to live out this dream lol

If you go to a Reserve Recruiter you won't hear a thing about being a grunt bc it's not on the table.
I went to basic at Benning. I didn't even know what infantry was when I joined. I wasn't sure what the Guard was nor what exactly the Marines did. You're assuming other people have your experience and foreknowledge and it is incorrect.
