The "Colonel's" Daily Motivational, Inspirational, & Leadership Quotes of the Day!

"Defining!"

“It’s so important to have a framework for leadership style, decisions, and how you will lead people to success. It’s critical for leaders at all levels to share their defining philosophy, personal values, and purpose with their team and organization. Define the ‘Why” you lead!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I Never Found It Difficult As It Came One Day At A Time;
As I Became Better And Passed My Knowledge To The Others,

I appreciated being a leader in the Army because it was a great leadership experiment. However, the process was not overnight. These were my imperatives:

- Love your soldiers.
- Live by the Army values.
- Operational and mission accomplishments.
- Properly trained soldiers in individual and collective tasks.
- Caring leadership for the soldiers and families.
- Find innovative ways to say thank you. An example is arranging helicopter rides for the soldiers.
- Pushing for personal and professional growth.
- Reduce risks.
- Rolling up my sleeves.
- Build up morale.
- Ensure fairness.
- Having fun.
- Provide overhead cover.
- Be a stepping stone for greater things.

Would Be Until It Was Too Late To Change My Mind.~ (:-)>
