The tier levels are mentioned in the regulation where if you are a tier level 1 soldier your TIG and TIS is shorter compared to a Tier level 2 soldier however it doesn't detail what makes a soldier a level 1 or 2 and who is responsible for that decision. Any info would be appreciated. Thank You

1SG (Join to see) Good shit there. I guess I need to update mine also. Kind of holding off on putting the big R next to my name...lol. Signed out on PTDY 2 weeks ago. Have 1 more "official" day to wear my uniform when I Final Out.

SFC (Join to see) - Thank you I was referring to the zones and had a brain hiccup. Does it only affect AD and AGR?

SGT (Join to see) No. If you're NG AGR you fall under the NGABS. It's only for AD.

It's easy Tier 1 is 90% or higher or which ever top 10% of your graduating class. Tier 2 is just below or you got a counseling while at NCOPD. They explain on the ALC webpage
