Well folks it is Sunday morning, April 18th and NASA has just released a note letting us all know that tomorrow, April 19th, is the day when Ingenuity is set to make history... THe software updates have been uploaded and Ingenuity's rotors and blades have been tested to Mission Control's satisfaction... This is a bold move at this point considering that Mars is such a vast distance from Earth
(NOTE: The distance of Mars from Earth is currently 286,222,941 kilometers, equivalent to 1.913282 Astronomical Units. Light takes 15 minutes and 54.7370 seconds to travel from Mars and arrive at Earth.)
Enjoy!
