On December 5th, 8 days ago, Perseverance lost it's electronic transmitter/Receiver connection with the Ingenuity Helicopter during its 17th flight! Shortly later, Perseverance received a transmission sequence that indicated that Ingenuity was not damaged and is in good shape!
Here is the Video description as published by iGadgetPro from NASA data:
"On December 5, 2021 NASA’s Ingenuity Mars Helicopter completed 17th flight on Red Planet but lost connection with Perseverance Rover during landing. After a successful traverse to the northeast, the radio communications link between Ingenuity & Perseverance Mars Rover was disrupted during landing. The rover later received telemetry suggesting Ingenuity. Nasa’s Ingenuity operation engineers are understood this situation and will try to solve it in upcoming flights. Technically there may be consequences after difficulties detected at 17 flight."

Great share Kerry, my thought is, remember when the Apollo missions went into the dark side of the moon and there were no communications.

I do remember that, Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen and was probably a similar situation on Mars...

Flying around the red planet looking for Martians (little green men) who have antenna's instead of ears. I wonder how they clean them?

In the movie, John Carter (based on the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs), there were red and green Martians. Personally, I prefer the red Martians!
