PCSing to Fort Leonard Wood (General)

I was there for school in September of 2012.  Honestly, the post has improved since the olden days.  There is a fair number of relatively new structures, there's a decent commissary & PX, and the town by the gate offers most amenities you need.

Be advised, the town hugs the military reservation border and disappears into the interstate within a 15 minute drive.  It's not large and if you need specialty stores or a place to party, you will be driving for a distance.
