How will OPM's failure affect you?

There are several interesting articles linked in this site. But the OPM story peaked my interest the most. I received a letter from DoD stating my records may have been compromised in the OPM breach. I'm waiting to get additional information as to what steps I need to take to protect myself. If you have not looked to see if your records are affected by the breach you should look into it.

The impacts of the breaches will not be known for years to come. I heard there is a court case soon that is going to discuss the idea of future harm or potential harm from these so I am interested to see how that plays out.
